EE draw yesterday - all program draw - 2000 ITAs issued w/ CRS 517. What happens to intl students that study & work diligently to make the economy run? Targeted draws may be needed in certain fields, but the plight of 1000s of intl student living in limbo is horrendous./1

@SeanFraserMP Thank you for supporting Iranian people. Iranian workers in Canada are experiencing anxiety as they are away from their homes & families in this chaos going on in Iran, they have also being stuck in the EE pool waiting for CEC Draws like other workers. Please expedite the process

@SeanFraserMP It’s good to support Iranians during this tough period. But many of Iranian work permit holders have been living in limbo for almost two years waiting for #CEC draws. I believe the best support would be to expedite the process of giving them PR than extending temporary permits

@CitImmCanada Why temporary measures are put in place for temporary residency? We are all passed that point and are in desperate need of permanent residency. Either start conducting bi-weekly cec specific draws or open a tr to pr pathway for Iranians. Solve this once and for all!

@CitImmCanada Long story short: IRCC acts welcoming BEFORE you enter their border and once you’re in and are close to burning out from all the working, paying taxes and trying to keep up with inflation, they hit you with a never ending loop of not receiving your permanent residency. #cecdraws

And now, after more than a year, nothing has been done for CEC draws. How long do we have to wait? Is this fair so that our lives and future are in limbo?
