Earlier today, Mr. John Ehidreme, 56, was arrested for illegally dumping refuse into a drainage channel at No. 18 Oluoga, Ikorodu.
The Lagos State Government reiterates that indiscriminate waste disposal is a violation of environmental laws, as it obstructs drainage channels, contributes to flooding, and poses significant public health and environmental risks.
Residents are urged to dispose of waste responsibly and use only approved waste management facilities.

In 2004, I published my very first book, Pathway to Success. As a young man, I poured my heart into it, drawing lessons from both the Bible and the Qur'ฤn to inspire people of my generation and even those older than me. I printed hundreds of copies, but I never recovered the money I invested. Yet, looking back today, I have no regrets. It was a remarkable milestone in my journey as a writer and a student of knowledge. Alแธฅamdulillฤh.
More than two decades later, I am delighted to share that a completely revised edition is now ready. This new work has been written entirely from the perspective of the Qur'ฤn and the authentic Sunnah, enriched with real-life experiences and practical reflections. It is simpler, more mature, and, by Allah's grace, far better than the first edition. I sincerely hope it will serve as a source of guidance, inspiration, and benefit to everyone who reads it.
I pray that Allah grants it wide acceptance and allows it to reach hearts that need its message. If He decrees that I earn some lawful material benefit from it, I will receive that with gratitude. But an even greater aspiration is that Allah makes it a means of continuous benefit for people, a source of guidance, and a แนฃadaqah jฤriyah whose rewards continue long after I am gone. That, indeed, is the success I seek.
May Allah place barakah in this effort, accept it sincerely for His sake alone, and make it beneficial in this world and the Hereafter. ฤmฤซn.
I spotted a sniper wearing a full SF uniform, but the exposed skin wasn't that of a black man it was a foreign fighter. I faced that axis and rained it with full force. Our officer in charge had been shot, but we had to finish the operation.
After some intense fighting, the place was calm, and we entered Alagarno. Some insurgents ran with bullet wounds, but what I saw was indescribable. The insurgents we killed included Arabs, and the camp's setup indicated they weren't locals. We found bunkers filled with hard currencies, brand-new vehicles, arms, sophisticated gadgets and even air conditioning.
Just as we thought it was over, they came again in vehicles, shouting "Allahu Akbar" and claiming it was their caliphate. With our ammo running low and our Oga shot, we were under pressure. But then, air support arrived, and it was our saviour.
