Why all the panic?

There’s loads of accounts losing their heads over every incoming and outgoing right now.

We all knew a rebuild was coming this summer.

Tielemans we signed on a free from a relegated Leicester side, nobody really wanted him at the time and we turned him into a proper player. He’s 29 now (not old but probably last chance of getting any £ for him) and went to Man Utd relatively cheap imo… but it’s pure profit.

Digne is 33 and off to PSG.

Konsa I don’t want him to leave either but he won’t be around forever - same for Watkins who’s 31 in December.

Few of the young boys are looking decent in pre-season, whether they stay or go out on loan is to be seen but they look promising.

MacPhee gone, ok? Get another set-piece coach… the stuff learnt won’t be forgotten overnight and maybe now we might learn to defend a few set pieces?

Remember when we signed Rogers for £8m and half of Twitter said we’d had our pants pulled down? Look how that turned out. Garnacho is a similar age to when we got Rogers… and already has way more experience. Imagine what Unai can do with him.

The World Cup is over and Argentina are going home with no trophy and no friends, which is what they deserve. Dubious VAR interventions, incessant unpunished fouling , a vile lack of grace after every game, it seemed that FIFA had rigged this tournament in Argentina’s favour.
