Three Signs Your Season Is Shifting

1. What once filled you now leaves you empty.
You feel a holy restlessness, a sacred hunger that no earthly thing can satisfy. That ache is not a flaw. It is the Spirit pulling you upward and forward into the deeper waters of your calling.

2. The old doors are closing, and it burns.
But hear this: a closed door is not a rejection; it is a redirection from the Most High. When God shuts a door, do not batter it down with your own hands. He is clearing the way for a door that no man can open and no enemy can shut.

3. You are uneasy in the places you once loved.
The old circle feels like a cage. The old thinking no longer fits. Do not mistake this for confusion; it is the pain of outgrowing your past. Growth always comes with fire, and fire always refines.

This is your season of transition.
Do not cling to what is passing. Do not mourn what is being stripped away. The Spirit is not taking from you; He is making room for more. Rise. Walk forward. Your new season is already breaking through the horizon.

True discernment must be rooted in love. When we love others our eyes are washed clean to see the truth that we are all in process of becoming more like Christ. Love will open ears to make our discernment heard. Without it, we are merely clanging cymbals striving to make a point.

Ever heard that the Empire invented the divinity of Christ?

Rome did not embrace the church until the fourth century. Prior to that, emperors routinely slaughtered Christians in various pogroms. Believers weren’t spilling their own blood for faith in a mere mortal.

Long before the fourth century, you had:

- Ignatius of Antioch: 50-117 AD
(A direct disciple of John)
“For our God Jesus Christ was according to the appointment of God conceived by the Holy Ghost”
“God Himself being manifested in human form for the renewal of eternal life.”
“There is one Physician who is possessed both of flesh and spirit; both made and not made; God existing in flesh”

- Polycarp: 69-155 AD
(Also a direct disciple of John)
Calls Him “our Lord and God Jesus Christ.”

- Justin Martyr: 100-165 AD
“… the Father of the universe has a Son; who also, being the first-begotten Word of God, is even God.”

- Irenaeus: 140-202 AD
“(Speaking of Jesus)… this God, the Creator, who formed the world, is the only God, and that there is no other God besides Him.”
“Carefully, then, has the Holy Ghost pointed out, by what has been said, His birth from a virgin, and His essence, that He is God (for the name Emmanuel indicates this). And He shows that He is a man ... we should not understand that He is a mere man only, nor, on the other hand, from the name Emmanuel, should suspect Him to be God without flesh.”
“For I have shown from the Scriptures, that no one of the sons of Adam is as to everything, and absolutely, called God, or named Lord. But that He is Himself in His own right, beyond all men who ever lived, God, and Lord, and King Eternal, and the Incarnate Word, proclaimed by all the prophets, the apostles, and by the Spirit Himself, may be seen by all who have attained to even a small portion of the truth. Now, the Scriptures would not have testified these things of Him, if, like others, He had been a mere man.”
“He received testimony from all that He was very man, and that He was very God, from the Father, from the Spirit, from angels, from the creation itself, from men, from apostate spirits and demons, from the enemy, and last of all, from death itself.”

**Brief pause: are we still saying that some emperor or church council in the fourth century made Jesus God? Don’t get your history from the Discovery Channel.

We need to realize a long unbroken chain of men and women who carried down this apostolic message that God Himself has truly come to us in Jesus Christ … from the very ones who touched and handled Him, like Thomas who placing his very hand in the risen One’s side called Him “My Lord and my God” (Ὁ κύριός μου καὶ ὁ θεός μου.’)

I was taken in a prophetic vision where I saw the 46th president of the United States. I observed with keen interest that this man's feet were not made of sturdy flesh and bone, but rather, they were composed of fragile clay.

Without warning, a rock, seemingly hurled by an unseen force, struck his clay feet with such force that it shattered the delicate balance he had maintained. The impact was so great that he was instantly toppled, falling to the ground in a cloud of dust and debris.

Then, the Spirit of the Lord spoke, His voice resonating like a thunderclap in the silence that followed the president's fall. He declared with an authority that was both awe-inspiring and terrifying, "The man who stood tall and proud before you will fall and will not rise a second time. His reign is at an end."

The Spirit continued, His voice filled with a stern warning, "I am removing him due to his pride, for pride precedes a fall." The vision ended as abruptly as it had begun, leaving behind a clear message of divine intervention at hand.
