On @Amtrak train #29, Capitol Limited departing DC July 5th, staff said we only had to wear masks when leaving our seats. So many folks in coach were unmasked for 20 hr trip. I know enforcement is hard, but doesn't this violate @Amtrak policy of masks at all times?

6 day roundabout @Amtrak tour, CO->DC 4 #transpocamp #transpo20 & #TRBAM. Thx 4 💯% on-time/early trains! Feedback for Amtrak: would be nice to allow earlier cnxns when available vs 2hr mandatory wait. Watched 2 NE Regionals leave w/empty seats b4 mine after 44hrs enroute already
