@afneil Would major investment in shipyards have a shorter term impact? Get what we have back to sea quicker and also build capacity for medium to long term builds. Generates jobs too and potential exports to other navies.

@royalbirkdale It's over 20 years since I had the pleasure of playing at Royal Birkdale, but I certainly haven't forgotten the warmth of the welcome (not always a given at clubs of this stature). Best course in England IMHO.
