Astounding Sunday Times investigation reveals new scandal in SNP’s Socialist Scotland:
800 NHS, central government, council and quango workers whose jobs no longer exist but remain on the public payroll because of the SNP’s ‘no public-sector redundancy’ policy.
Estimated cost of paying people to do nothing: £27m a year.
One NHS Highland worker has been receiving a full salary and benefits for 17 years despite not having a specific job.
The health board refused to say what the worker had been doing for almost two decades and how much they had been paid.
Likely cost to the taxpayer is expected to be far higher with several public bodies refusing to disclose salaries for hundreds of the workers awaiting redeployment.

@EastRenAsks Repeats. Not often on here.

I merely thought that as an East Ren person disgruntled with politics you may have offered more than memes and AI slop.

From a fellow East Ren person.

@MMcEwanGolf Michael, wishing you every future success and I hope you remain in golf. I remember when Bunkered started in the heady days of mags and it was great to see it take on the established titles of the day from PSP HQ. Well done to you and the teams over the years. Awra best. Alan

Bryony and Matt are spending £820,000 on a modern, high-performance home on the Cornish coast - designed to meet the highest environmental standards.

Will they pull it off?

@mrewanmurray I'm still breathless after watching it last night. Amazing performance in 1st half but still too nervy at times for my liking in the 2nd. Onwards.

@TheEuroFE 🤡 go watch/read the BBC story that explains it properly instead of spouting nonsense.
