2 Bitterns that i saw today from the Van de Bovenkamp Hide. 1st one flew from the island to the left reed bed. 2nd one was to the left of the Ziess hide on the reeds, then flew across to the main reed bed(saw it again later as it flew to the island) @slimbridge_wild #GlosBirds

A Bittern went for a walk today in front of the Zeiss Hide @WWTSlimbridge going across all 4 channels in the reeds and eventually going back again. Here's some footage I took in-between taking photos @slimbridge_wild @GlosBirds @WWTworldwide

Merlin swooped down on a group of snipe in front of the Zeiss Hide @WWTSlimbridge then chased after them. Then got hounded by a Rook @slimbridge_wild @GlosBirds
