Dear @Tesla this just happened on Model Y HW3 v12.5.1.5, FSD on, navigating forward. Critical failure, manual intervention required. No other cars around (otherwise I wouldn't let it)
@tweetmyinbox Please don't use me to promote baseless hate. The technology is ages ahead of everyone else. I knew what I was paying for when I bought this. I wasn't misled. People tend to draw their own conclusions and ignore the plain text in front of their face.
@AggieCapitalist Funny how most of the people who commented are engaged in real discussion. The people who retweet are drumming up drama. ๐คทโโ๏ธMaybe some of your 7600 followers want to follow me for a real perspective. Not an influencer, but thanks for the RT.
@CnnmnSchnpps@Tesla@wholemars The closest I've come is parking lot to parking lot. I always have to intervene for a motorized gate, but I don't think they've trained the AI for that yet. And I still have to pull out of parking spots. Not complaining about that :D
@formytots0128@Tesla I wish I could. I was just driving home from dinner. I'm not a YouTuber, so I didn't have anything recording the screen. It would be nice if the dashcam feature also recorded the HUD. I took over to move the car back to the right side, so the turning indicates when I took over.
@xdNiBoR@Tesla Yeah I hadn't thought until someone else mentioned it that the lead car led my car into the wrong lane. That is definitely a test case for @teslasi 's automated test suite. It's something that can be fixed by recognizing lane markings vs expectations.
@teslaSharts420@tmornini@filakj@Tesla@Waymo Trying to leave politics and rhetoric aside. I don't own stock. I own a car with FSD. It has indeed improved vastly in the time I've owned it, which has spanned the entire FSD release.
@tmornini@KWells755@Tesla Frankly I was expecting more replies like that. At the end of the day, I just want the software and the product to improve for owners like us. I'm not upset ๐
@tmornini@KWells755@Tesla@DirtyTesLa@AIDRIVR@wholemars Well they are technically deterministic in the same way a random number generator is deterministic. Given the same inputs, you will get the same output. But the likelihood of ever getting the same input is non-existent so yes. Functionally non-deterministic and better than humans
@DanielCardena@Tesla This is a good point. It likely explains why my car chose the left turn lane. But the lead car turned left. Shouldn't my car have turned left because it was in the wrong lane?
@MattyKoebel@Tesla Yes, I agree. If there were other cars there, my car would not have driven into them. I think this is still a critical error because if a Robotaxi did this, it would earn itself a traffic citation at the very least.
@KWells755@Tesla The built-in Tesla dashcam feature doesn't record sound. I'm not an influencer like @DirtyTesLa, @AIDRIVR , @wholemars, etc. I was just driving home from dinner. No cameras or mics set up.
@MattyKoebel@Tesla The car entered the turn lane when the navigation was set to go straight. It drove straight and ended up on the wrong side of the road in the opposing turn lane.
