@timkawakami I think the main reason is competitive advantage. Let’s say Aiyuk does have interest from teams.

He can’t access their playbooks until he joins a team. From a competitive standpoint, keeping him until most teams have finished camp & offensive installation is the best move.

Brandon Aiyuk is clueless. Really sad to see. But he just clearly stated he quit on the team because they wouldn’t cater to him.

- Begged Shanahan not to be traded to the Steelers and that he wanted to sign the deal on the table.
- Threw a tantrum on the field for wearing the wrong practice attire
- Refused to talk in person to Lynch but went online to tell him he didn’t want the smoke.
- Ghosted teammates who reached out to him
- Didn’t do his required rehab check-ins

After all of this, he refuses to take any blame for his actions. Just more proof this is an immature child. Just another example that $ reveals character, it doesn’t develop it.

Under this scenario, the 49ers can leave him on the “Left Squad List.” He would remain on the team, but wouldn’t count against the roster or receive any pay.

Love my @Tesla Model Y. The FSD has been clutch, doing several back-to-back trips to LA from Clovis.

I will say the built-in messaging feature leaves much to be desired, which is sad for a company who does everything else so well.

Either support CarPlay & Android Auto or invest some resources into improving it. I’m sure @grok could even one-shot vibe code something much better than what exists now.
