It’s crazy how someone you once had such a strong bond with can slowly become a stranger. No fight, no drama, just less communication, more distance, and one day, you’re no longer part of each other’s lives.
You know what's funny?
The older I get, the more I protect my peace.
Not because I've become weak.
I'm just tired of problems that don't pay my bills. 😂
Who else can relate? 🤔
Like your partner's body first, let the sight of their body move you. Don't just marry because you think they're good people.
You're setting yourself up.
Lust, then love.
I like myself.
Maybe that's why I've never understood why putting yourself first is seen as selfish.
When you genuinely value yourself, you stop accepting things that cost you your peace.
I don't think that's selfish.
I think that's self-respect.
If I had the mindset I have now, I wouldn't have made those mistakes. But if I hadn't made those mistakes, I wouldn't have the mindset I have now. That is simply the paradox of life. The lesson always comes after the test.
