@NIAbbot@LBC I missed last nightβs show but I had an L , Canadian folk singer Gordon Lightfoot who died earlier this year, writer of Early Morning Rain and If you could read my mind , among others
It's time some speed cameras get installed on the M1 north coming out of London on the straight before Scratchwood services. I was driving at 70 when 2 maniacs passed me as though I was standing still . I reckon they were at around 130 mph, maybe more.
@JolyonMaugham@MarinaPurkiss These horrific events are the continuation of the devastating effects of Hitler's Holocaust followed by Israel's continuing push for more land, eating into the Palestinian's territory after the creation of their new state, and their refusal to recognise Palestine as a state.
@dot1982@sebenard1@Carra23 If you think was unfair, cast your mind back 2 years to when a deliberate unfair decision in F1 robbed Lewis Hamilton of the World Championship. That was truly outrageous !
@steffieegg12 This is the sort of disgraceful treatment that is allowed in the UK. By contrast, In France a landlord would not legally be allowed to do this. I hope you can find some help and support quickly.
@mikegalsworthy So the Whitney Houston song inspired her ? Forget about the children being the future, that is self evident. I seem to remember that the main theme of the Whitney Houston song was expressed in the lyric. Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all.
@Lisa_Smart ( might only ) was intended. Other processing costs may have gone up somewhat but with bulk gas price at 50% of the consumer price a doubling of bulk price should only produce a 25% rise at the home. The government should ask to see their accounts with a view to taxing XS profit.
@Lisa_Smart The price rises we are seeing are unbelievable ! We know the bulk gas price has increased but I wonder what proportion of the consumer price it represents ? I tried to find out on line but failed. I would be very surprised if it is greater than 50% and it migh only be 25% ?
@mrjamesob This is what you get when you run rail services as a private profit making enterprise. It's no surprise, and if they didn't reward their shareholders the shares would go down and the Company could get into financial difficulties. This is why private enterprise is wrong for rail.
@XRPtommy@AllieHBNews By which time many of the voters who wanted brexit will be dead and our younger population will be suffering from the limitations that loss of our close ties with the have brought. The only ones who benefit will be the richest in society !
