This has been hexed season for Munster.

Injuries have made it difficult for Munster to compete in the final 20 minutes of big games.

The same again today unfortunately.

Munster are better their form suggests but they need more depth in key positions.

Little can be done until the injured players return.

Big win for Connacht. Important given their recent run of form and the manner of their single score defeats to Leinster and Ulster.

Their ability to create and convert 3v2 opportunities is incredible.

They secure maximum dividend from rugby’s most basic skills.

Sadly, Ireland came up short in that regard.
