In the right circumstances I support higher taxes. I would prefer that you concentrated on things that are really important like climate change met zero etc.

This sort of thing really annoys me - would it be acceptable to just say the road is closed and block it with cones. Not a massive issue for me and my son as I just walked in the kerb around it but this would have been a nightmare for my elderly mother @DevonCC @CullomptonTown

@SF_England not impressed by your service - I have to create an account to say that I am supporting my child but as I (25 years ago) had a grant I have to use that address to access an account - i failed security once using my current account and was told I have to send a letter

@fborocyclist That is a useless cycle route - looks too narrow and no real separation meaning that cars parking end up blocking it.

@SteveWasteney @BadlyParkedOx You are right but not everyone wanted to or thought they had the right to park one of those outside their houses. When the road widths were set most people would have walked.

@lkchdschh Trouble is that Government is not prepared to say what a mess we are in and how much we actually need to cut car use by to meet our net Zero targets. So they do it on the quiet and prioritise cycling to try and reduce car use on the sly.
Still isn’t enough though!
