Like Mbagathi Hospital, KNH is also not sugarcoating the atrocities.

A press release from Kenyatta National Hospital confirms that the hawker shot during the Nairobi CBD protests was brought in with a critical gunshot wound to the head. He was barely alive, placed on life support, and underwent emergency brain surgery to remove a bullet lodged in his skull.

He’s now in the ICU, still alive but on a ventilator.

KNH says 16 people were treated from protest-related injuries ranging from gunshot wounds to blunt force trauma. Some underwent surgery. One victim arrived with a fractured skull, reportedly from an assault.

This is the true face of what happened on June 17th. The monster police shot an unarmed trader in the head, in the middle of the CBD.
