Newspaper endorsements don’t carry all of the weight that they used to, but when a newspaper endorses a Republican candidate, people take notice because it doesn’t happen very often.
The media is the media and they are overwhelmingly liberal.
It is in that spirit that people are noticing the fact that the ‘Duluth News Tribune’ has endorsed Republican Michele Tafoya for U.S. Senate in Minnesota.

Weird. @mikehtrujillo, a Karen Bass surrogate, has been attacking Nithya Raman, and he loves to clout-draft off me, but for some reason...he doesn't wanna retweet this chart showing Nithya's ties to the corrupt homeless industrial complex, including her own NPO. I wonder why? Oh, that's right...because Karen Bass is in on it, too.
You see...I was the only non-corrupt candidate who never participated in the homeless industrial complex, other than trying to dodge drug zombies terrorizing our families. Now that it's just Dumb and Dumber left in the race, you have to choose between two sides of the same coin. Good luck, LA!
The fact that both mayoral candidates are balls deep in the homeless industrial complex, they both work in city government, and the city's own homeless count was inexplicably delayed until immediately after I was pushed out of the race...should be grounds for a recall of either candidate, regardless of who wins.
@LauraWilsoqr I'll be watching them shoot a cold blooded murderer. Bravo for putting it on TV. Ms. Wilson, you are the reason women should never be in charge of our great nation.
Ukraine needs money and the Senate votes for it overwhelmingly… Money sent.
America needs secure elections and the Senate Leader runs home.

Another day, another Econ 101 lesson for Professor Warren.
Her “Trumpflation” tracker conveniently ignores the Bidenflation tidal wave that crushed American families, cherry-picks wage growth by refusing to acknowledge positive real wage gains since President Trump came into office, and swaps official medical-care CPI data for premium projections when it suits her narrative.
The Harvard Square inflationista is offering a statistical sleight of hand, not a serious assessment of today’s U.S. economy.
Here is the full picture, including an apples-to-apples comparison of President Trump’s real economic results measured against the failed policies Senator Warren championed under Biden.
Guys. Let me share a little "secret" about campaigns...there's calculus behind EVERYTHING. And I do mean everything. Every word. Every image. Every debate quip. Everything, down to the color of the font you choose, is calculated to invoke a specific feeling, and most of the time, it's easy to decipher what the campaign is trying to convey with these choices, and that is the goal.
So if you find yourself confused by something happening in a campaign, and you're thinking "why would they do that?"...like..."how the hell could they think going radio silent for 2 weeks is a good idea in the closing weeks of a campaign?" They don't think it's a good idea. It's because the alternative is so much worse. If you think going radio silent and getting TORCHED online for over a week in the closing month of a $400M campaign is bad...just imagine how bad the real story was.
You don't get to choose everything that happens in the campaign, but you do THINK about everything that happens in a campaign and choose your strategy for presenting it to the public or spinning it. Sometimes...there is no good way of spinning it, so you just have to eat your shit sandwich, and hope that the alternative would've been worse.
It's a lot like the current LA Mayor's race...there is no good option.
Steve Hilton is ahead of Xavier Becerra in the California governor race, 28 to 25, with most of the map still out. That is not the lead people expected. Raise your hand if you want Hilton in Sacramento.
