But they still don't have a game that has made me remotely interested in buying a switch 2, nor have they even teased a game like that. For me pereonally, Mario Kart is not enough of a reason to buy a console.

Zero first party titles. The console has been out for a year, we've waited 10 months for a direct, and we get absolutely nothing. No mario maker, no 3d mario, no new zelda (the second remake of a 20 year old game does not count), no smash, no kirby, no new IP, and no gameplay.

Might actually be the most disappointing Direct for me personally. Not to be dramatic but I was sorta hoping for like, "here's the next batch of games to look forward to in year 2".

We got very very little. There were some cool ports but in regards to Nintendo themselves. Meh

@M_Vigik I'm personally not very interested in a racing game spinoff, and would not count that as a major Kirby game release, as air riders does not contain a formula at all similar to mainline installments of the franchise. I would also not consider MKW a 3D mario game.

@BoTalksGames Why would I buy a Nintendo console to play games that are available on PC? The ENTIRE reason to buy Nintendo is because their first party titles have been historically great, and you can't get them anywhere else. Otherwise you're just paying $450 for portability.

@Kill_The_Rich Hyperbole, but the two first party titles were switch sports resort (Which, doesn't look that great in my opinion. Why not just bring back the miis?) And Xenoblade. And Xenoblade is a great franchise, but I am personally bitter because I've been waiting for X2 for a decade.
