Do both!
I've been remote full-time for years but in-person every 1-2 months. When I'm in SF, I'm spending time with the team. And then at home, it's deeper focused work.
Works surprisingly well for me.

1. Remote work is hard and can be a bad fit for many
2. Office culture can be great and more productive
Rather than ignoring nuance, just don't hire the person who needs office culture remotely, or vice versa.
