Iron scavenging (Bolar Bolar) has to be criminalized at this point of madness that they have reached. They are damaging critical public infrastructure and trespassing into restricted areas, all in the name of scavenging. It has become an organized crime ring.

I just saw a shocking video of these criminals damaging a newly constructed bridge in Lagos to steal the iron rebar.

In Abeokuta, the 6ft tall, 150meter long iron barricade wall at Panseke (which restricts pedestrians to the bridge) is being cut down every night, and I believe they sell it. They are now halfway through it.

They are also quietly cutting away same iron barricades at Iyana Mortuary, Itoku, Kuto etc. Every morning, you notice a chunk of the wall is gone.

The iron barrier that protects vehicles on the Akin Olugbade bridge from veering into the Ogun river has been completely removed.

Every street, every corner, and every morning, you find them digging into people’s wastes uninvited, making a mess.

We need to come together and end this thing!

When a great leader falls, people who have never carried their burdens are often the quickest to misdiagnose the cause. Saying Samson was defeated by lust is a lazy, historically inaccurate reading of his life. Samson was not a sexual predator or a man chasing endless vices. That is the literal definition of destructive, unchecked lust. Yet, David was not 'defeated' or permanently stripped of his calling. If the raw mechanism of lust was what destroyed judges and kings, David would have fallen completely.

Samson fell because his heart was too open to the wrong person.

Nothing on the pitch changed. Same guy, same career, twenty years of footage anyone can check in under a minute.

What changed is the feed. Villain edits started outperforming legend edits and the algorithm noticed.

A 2018 MIT study tracked 126,000 claims across 3 million X users. False stories spread six times faster than true ones and got retweeted 70% more often. Outrage simply beats accuracy at getting attention.

None of this needs a single big lie either. Illusory truth effect: see a claim enough times and it starts feeling true even when you know it's false, and the effect survives fact checks.

Football is basically the most documented thing on earth. Every match, every angle, every ref decision, all archived. The narrative still won anyway.

If the algorithm can flip public opinion on the most watched athlete alive, it can flip it on anyone with no footage to fall back on.
