@RestIsPolitics@LondonPalladium@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret Could the U.K. have created a high wage, high productivity economy while remaining a member of the EU, and if not, why not given that other countries like the Netherlands, Germany and Ireland have managed to do so?
@TheNewsAgents@Jeremy_Hunt@lewis_goodall That the 🇬🇧 needed Brexit to switch from low wage, low productivity to high wage, high productivity is a false premise. High wage, high productivity economies in EU like🇩🇪🇳🇱🇮🇪 show this. The UK’s issue has been the policy of successive governments and continues to be so.

@lewis_goodall@TheNewsAgents@DavidGHFrost@maitlis The implication that the U.K. needed Brexit in order to become a high productivity economy makes no sense. That could have been done as a member of EU had successive governments chosen the right policies.

@davidmcw Yes indeed! Bray, Shankhill, Ballybrack, Killiney - lots of "for sale" signs up. Just mentioned it to the family the other day while out for a walk.
