LISTICLES VS ADVERTORIALS 👑
Most DTC brands are running these completely blindly...
And low key it pisses me off lol.
REMEMBER:
Run listicles when:
- People know the solution
- People comparing you against other brands
- Retargeting / warm traffic
Run advertorials when:
- People know the problem, NOT the solution
- Your product is complex (needs more education)
- Skepticism is high
That’s basically it.
Both formats warm people up before sending them into the PDP.
The difference is HOW MUCH convincing they need first.
Look at Javvy.
They’ve leaned heavily into listicle-style funnels because they’re competing in a crowded category where people already understand what they’re buying.
The job of the page isn’t to teach them the entire category.
It’s to make them think:
“Okay… why should I buy THIS one?”
And listicles are insanely good at doing that fast.
Stop randomly picking funnel formats because another brand is running them.
Match the funnel to the traffic.
Then max the shit out of it.

What Does A Creative Strategist Actually Do? ( question from ad creators lab )
( Here's a response we had )
Do you agree with this answer?
A CS can do a lot depending if they are in-house at a brand, or working at an agency.
But here's off the top of my head what they are responsible for:
- Analyzing the account they are working on and understanding the marketing strategies of it's competitors
- Conducting deep research on the market
- Identifying avatars from positive signals in the market ( from current spending ads ) and creating new ones based off of current research and new ways to sell the product
- Formulating angles, ad ideas, hypothesis to test, and generating a strategic plan based on the current state of the account ( to start does it need iterations? net new concepts? a mix? etc etc )
- Logging each ad, writing it ( or working with a copywriter to execute your idea ), testing the ad, and running feedback loops to determine if their hypothesis is true
- Then over time, developing a pattern recognition in the account based on their ad tests, and making decisions from the data
- With the overall goal to either scale, maintain spend, take up spend on the account, introduce creative diversity ( whatever the brand owners vision is for introducing you on the account )
- Then just repeating the research --> ad idea --> scripting --> testing --> record data --> feedback loop until you get closer and closer to your goal
- Generating performance based reports, reviving a dead or downtrending account, auditing the full funnel ( landing page, offer etc )
Long story short, they do a lot.
But their main responsibility is producing results from the creative.
The copywriter's job is to take the puzzle pieces and put them together.
The editor's job is to turn the completed puzzle into a picture.
The creative strategist's job is to build the puzzle set the editor and copywriter are putting together.
📢ATTENTION FELLAS! A BREAKING DISCOVERY🔎
⚠️This is my early bull run prediction for the new $BTC cycle which has been bottoming out in June/July 2026. This might be one of my most important posts for this cycle so make sure to bookmark it right away and let's come back to it in 2029, alright?⚠️
The cool thing about this technique is: Once you fully understand it, you can directly copy it to your own Tradingview dashboard. 💻
🗒️So here's my go-to-guide, a step by step blueprint for cycle top predictions that have been valid ever since - a 100% track record! It is based on a model created by Dr. Alan Andrews - Inside Pitchfork. The inside Pitchfork uses three data points, balances, and equal-weights all three points in reciprocity to each other and their respective destination tag AND also in interdependcy to their combined path dependencies.
So you can follow these steps and let the magic happen:
1) Open the BTC/USD all time history index in your Tradingview Supercharts dashboard and search the left hand bar for "Inside Pitchfork". You will find it in the second colum that shows a trendline, clicking the right arrow to open the toolbar, then scrolling all the way down.↙️
2) Once you have activated the Inside Pitchfork tool, go to its respective settings and disable all lines except the median line and color the median line according to your wish.✖️
3) Draw your adapted Inside Pitchfork as followed:
- first data point: bear market bottom (1)
- second data point: the following bull market top (2)
- third data point: the following bear market bottom (3)
Once you have drawn all three data points as stated above, you can clearly observe that the median line ALWAYS shows you the NEXT CYCLE TOP ZONE and thus, the median line functions as the "apex-resistance" for the respective cycle. 🚧
I have gone through every cycle and EVERY TIME it had worked the same, so as of now, I can validly report a 100% track record for this setup. Valid and reliable until proven otherwise!💯☑️
💭If we were to continue with the same setup and expect a cycle top within 6-18 months after the next halving (expected in Q1 2028), my extrapolation using last bear market's bottom at $15k as my first data point (1), connecting it to last bull market's top at $124k - $126k (2), and finalizing it with the current bear market bottom of around $57k (3), would end up with MY FOLLOWING BULL MARKET TOP TARGET ZONE CALL which is ... drumroll 🥁
