@MCCCANM My FO and I were talking about this the other day. Anytime I see a bus out there taxiing around, I always just imagine the two of them sat up there coloring on their tray tables like toddlers on the kids menu at Denny’s.
@MCCCANM Honestly I hope they do it. It will bring the northeast to its knees and off their high horse. Maybe new York and LA will realize that the rest of the country doesn’t actually appreciate being referred to as ‘fly-over’.
@preston_holland Grow the fuck up. You’re a professional, maybe not you, but professional pilots are. Doctors and lawyers don’t ask for tips like an Applebees server. If you want to be paid more take it up with your company. Don’t hold your hand out after each flight like some low class server.
@MCCCANM Not to mention deadheading crew members. Give me a trash bag and a couple of seat belt extensions and I’ll have that threat neutralized in no time. They wont even need to call law enforcement on landing. The body can just go out with the trash.
@MikeyDiMercurio Rolex is dead. I wouldn’t take a free one if offered. My Apple Watch does so much more and has always been reliable. No $2000 cleanings either.
@DJSnM As a general rule we trust but verify. We never resolve a clearance discrepancy within the flight deck, especially if it involves a runway hold short or crossing clearance. There is no shame, even in JFK/LGA/EWR/BOS/ORD/ATL or wherever, to ask a controller to verify a clearance.
