Di ieri l'attacco frontale del presidente americano Donald Trump al Pontefice. "Papa Leone è debole sulla criminalità e pessimo per la politica estera - ha detto Trump - Se non fossi alla Casa Bianca, Leone non sarebbe in Vaticano", l'affondo presidenziale.

"Io non ho paura dell'amministrazione Trump, parlo del Vangelo, continuerò a parlare ad alta voce contro la guerra - la replica di Leone XIV - Non ho intenzione di entrare in un dibattito con lui".
