Received this signed copy by mail today from my good friend @SebiAbs - Thank you a lot! - I've read the complete book & it covers #SAP mobile services & mobile development really good π - would recommend to read it if you are plannig to develop mobile apps - βοΈ
tests for #COVID19 related interface passed succesfully. Once medical tests are done & registred in the system the delivery of the result to the patient takes less than 2 minutes instead of 24-36h. Great teamwork & a big process improvement. It's nice that our dev work helped βοΈ
First 3 months passed well with two kids β₯οΈ. I took a brake from social media to enjoy the time. I've missed it to post about sap dev topics and in the next weeks i'll start to share again some insights to the things i do. Looking rly forward to it - take care & stay healthy π·βοΈ
@jakobflaman Also all the best for your family and you in 2020 - was a busy time this year & and 2020 will also be exciting - april is the next big event ππ₯³
35y after my birthday i've helped to set a bunch of interfaces, monitors, enhancements & processes live - a 24h go-live in the hospital i was born - helping patients & staff there to help others - rly tired & happy it went smooth - 3 months hard work - great to give smthg back π
i really like that #sap offer a lot of tested business functionality that can flexible composed to custom business processes. its speeding up project implementations on customer site a lot & helps getting started. π
first day on my new job - complete setup done and all tools ready - already switched from technical interface discussions to process discussions - perfect π
#ui5 app runs on the #raspberry after booting as ui π
touch events working smooth, python sensor handling & api's working like expected - cleaning up the cablework, put some paint on the parts & good to go for a fieldtest
second attempt - display fits π₯³ - now its time for soldering π€ & research for 3d printing started - the more i work on the project the more i wish for a proper workshop π€ - our daughter played peacefully next to me
it blinks π - that is the first small step with the new hardware
i'm working on a hobby iot case with a #raspberry, tft-display & a bunch of sensors - ui will be a little #ui5 app - backend is done & now the real fun begins - nice to learn more about electronics

~2400k msgs sent via #sap#pi in ~24 min - makes an average of 0.0006 second per message (one appl server) - now splitting up processing to multiple servers, proper priority handling, eleminate last inperformant sql's & final abap oo optimizations - 1 mocked error as expected π
to be clear - just don't load ~2400k objects to js array - just don't - never - you will run out of string chars and face other limitations like response size restrictions & it's no pattern suggested for productive use
currently i'm testing a self designed framework sending messages from erp through sap pi - expected 5k msgs/day - performs well at 1000k messages during performance tests - healthy workprocesses, db & job processing - nothing optimized on performance yet - π i like sap systems
