@kiyoshima_yaizu I think Kaguya-hime is such a rare case that its success cannot be replicated because everything is almost perfect, from the story to its themes, from characters to their relationships. There won't be another trio like Iroha, Kaguya and Yachiyo, they're just so unique.

@vivibiana77 Nah, CPK is pretty straight forward unless we watch different movie. Both Kaguya and Iroha got together in the end, and CPK even has a sequel in the form of MV further confirming the fact that both characters really stay together until the end. What's so subtext about it?

@RezuLily @Sketchie71 Only when being with Mari that Lara was able to produce such light, a "different" light that does not require taking away a human life. Such feelings cannot be stemmed from "friendship" alone, otherwise the show would have ended ages ago with Lara being friends with everyone

@htGOIW It works both way. You can have anime projects that last for a single season to boost manga popularity, and the opposite is also true, where an anime is so successful that it becomes a commercial hit and the production committee will continue making seasons until it ends.

@Fraudwatch99 @LNhistorian Many people can't understand the differences between justification and reasoning a character actions. In fictional works, understanding their motivations often makes a work more believable, doesn't mean I actually support the character action (cont)

@wolfy44231 I think the ending is too ambiguous for its own good, leaving too little time for interpretation. It's a solid show overall, I really like the direction and what it wants to tell, but the execution is a bit lacking. I hope the story writer can improve upon his future works.

IDK why many saying it is yuribait, while in fact everything was quite obvious. The premise is that without love, Lara cannot find the light. And in order for Lara to be saved, the love between them must happened. It is the foundation that the work was built upon.

@maxkutabire The so called "yuri" crowd needs 2 characters sharing a kiss to confirm their point of view, otherwise it's just a friendship story. Those perspective always boggle my mind.
