Tonight in #starwars stuff - I finally got this to a point where I like it! Nothing bugs me, which is a goddamn miracle.
I also figured out how to make auto-randomizing R2 Units!

I finally finished my XG-1 Starwing Assault Gunboat! Originally seen in the 1994 PC Dos game "#StarWars X-Wing", the Assault Gunboat has been a fan favorite for a while. My take pushes the "Lambda-class" shuttle lineage

I took some free render-machine time and re-rendered this #Starwars scene with the new bounce lighting and denoiser pass I've been using elsewhere. I really like how it turned out!
Added in the missing B-wings as well.

@aembury@NeatVideo@RedGiantNews Well the music is by Bastien Boiton, it's doing most of the heavy lifting. Besides that, I'm just mixing, matching and combining all the various SW SFX I've collected over the years.
So with no re-rendering but using the Red Giant Denoiser 3...I get some pretty solid, smooth results!

Done, for now... Imperial fleet is in there, firing, maneuvering like I'd expect impact hits toned down, TIES have a more visible interior (Thanks, #Mandolarian!), And the post lens distortion is much more even. I'm moving onto something else!
