@TeksEdge @GoldmanSachs 75% of pharmacists could be automated away with o3 and equivalents today, and 50% of SME CEOs arguably could be too - the latter won't happen as they tend to be (co)founders / major shareholders too. So yeah, the list is counter-intuitive to the point of looking like a mistake.

@TeksEdge Maybe, but Solist-AI isn't a great example of this as it isn't a generative AI model, strictly speaking - it doesn't produce new content. It's a predictive model for anomaly detection, fault prediction, degradation forecasting etc; there's nothing "Gen" about it I believe?

🎥 Sacrum Orionis Imperium - a Sci-Fi blockbuster featuring an alien military parade, created using @LumaLabsAI, @suno_ai_, @midjourney, and GPT-4, in just an afternoon, with no prior moviemaking experience. How did I do it?

While watching my son Theo, a Royal Air Force cadet, march in a parade on Armed Forces Day in Northern London last Saturday, I envisioned how a military parade of a powerful alien civilisation in another star system might look.

Needing to decompress after a stressful week, I challenged myself to create a short film about the Holy Orion Empire, a militaristic alien civilisation. Here's how I made it happen:

1. I described the concept and style to ChatGPT (GPT-4) and asked it to generate rich, detailed prompts for MidJourney.

2. Fed the prompts into MidJourney and got some stunning images of a jubilant alien military parade in a majestic capital city.

3. Used Luma AI's Dream Machine to turn these images into short 5-10s videos, which I then stitched together in... ehm... iMovie.

4. Always believing that half the strength of Ridley Scott's Gladiator came from Hans Zimmer's majestic score, I aimed to generate a similarly grand soundtrack. I asked ChatGPT to compose Latin lyrics, which I then fed into @suno_ai_ to create the orchestral soundtrack.

5. Used @BandLab's free mastering service for audio polishing - and then got a helpful Australian kid on @fiverr to upscale it to 4k using Topaz Video AI.

After some adjustments and adding opening and end titles, the result was this 3-minute sci-fi short film. The entire production process from initial idea to the finished short film took just 7 hours.

If you see certain technical flaws in the video footage, let's remember that these are the worst versions of all these Gen AI tools we will ever see. Luma's Dream Machine literally came out two weeks ago.

What do I make of it all? I can see this becoming my hobby, maybe. (I do have a day job.)

But... in a world where every author with a bit of creativity can singlehandedly produce a full-length movie using just a laptop and a few affordable AI tools over the same time it would take them to write a book (or a short story), the entertainment industry is going to be transformed in very interesting ways. Won't happen tomorrow - but my bet would be in 2-3 years.

(I'm not trying to address whether this is fair to the countless creators whose body of work the generative AI models have been trained on. The Gen AI revolution won't be stopped or rolled back, but the IP creators will have to be compensated, and it looks like the mechanics of that will be decided in the courts.)
