Super proud Dad moment. My son Alex scored a PK in the final minute to defeat @DynamoAcademy 2-1. He was calm and composed while the other team tried to distract him but then blasted the ball to the corner. Awesome feeling watching him run after he scored. @hourangerssc @MLSNEXT

Our @SG1Soccer 2015 (u8) Gabby. I asked her to play defense in a scrimmage a while back and now she wants to play it all the time...and frankly she's magnificent

So true...I made this video of our U8 team just for this comment. What we're asking young players to do is hard and goes against their natural instinct. It takes great patience, commitment, understanding, and communication from coaches and parents to help kids see the game.

Super proud of Alex coming back from injury. 2 months out from a strained hamstring set him back but he’s proven he’ll do whatever it takes to get back and play at a high level. Even waking up at 5am to work on conditioning before catching the school bus.

Our @SG1Soccer 2015 playing as u8 for the 1st time, at 7v7. They're representing their Futsal facility @Upper90Futsal in this tournament, and I dropped by to help coach the 3rd game.

I'm really pleased with their current level of development. They are a very cognitive group.

My favorite thing about this clip from last night's training, is the spatial awareness. The 2 players swapping spots...as one dribbles back, the other fills in the space created by the movement.

He just turned 7, she is still 6

3rd game of the day, cold and windy, not enough players showed up, 9v11 and coach asked Alex to play defense against kids 3 years older. The game wasn’t even close, but I’m proud Alex didn’t give up #leonesnegros
