@LadyPelvic I will say if you can get to daybreak it's a nice palette cleanser but if you go expecting cold steel systems again you'll be disappointed. It feels fresh though, like how sky 1 or crossbell 1 felt. New place, new area, new babies etc. felt much needed after 5 games

@LadyPelvic I agree with a lot of your issues. I also think doing the entire cold steel arc is a marathon that can sap your joy of the series.

Reverie learns from CS4, as does daybreak and Horizon in the "bloat" and how to better use people in and out of the plot imo.

@LadyPelvic I finished octopath 0 and I loved it so much I decided to give octopath 1 another go. Just finished off everyone's chapter 2. Its a bit of a slog but there's enough 'fun' character chapters to get me to the end I reckon.

@TwilightSomnus Good arc overall - harem insistence goes into overdrive past amusing to alarming by the end of it. Overshadows all personal growth and arcs of so many characters for LOLOL GIRLS LOLOL but it's still a nice time to play.

@Noctowlkyo The best part of Crossbell is that because it's such a compact arc - compared to sky and steel taking you so many places, the NPC game is the best it's been in the series next to Daybreak.

Because its always them you see and the effect they have is always obvious.
