@katrianab_ Well at least 2.1 million pesos if you combine undergrad and graduate school which are one week apart. So in terms of studio equipment Nd setup, floral arrangement, manpower, etc., they’re shared costs. But undergrad alone, around 1.8 million pesos. That’s a lot!

Nagulat ako may nagchat sakin sinabi yung buong division ng brother nya hindi natawag sa virtual graduation ng @ADDU_Official ! And several other divisions were skipped too. Hindi na ba uso ang quality check sa AdDU? Wala ng pera? San pala napunta yung ~2.1Mn pesos na grad fee?

My advice to my fellow graduates in the graduate school— don’t watch the FB livestream of our graduation this Saturday afternoon with family and friends. Baka mabigo lang tayo pag di tayo natawag. Sa gabi na lang manood ng replay with everyone if sure na nasama tayo sa recording.

The AVP will be quick to correct you on your notion that the graduation is for the students. According to her, it is a celebration for everyone — teachers, administrators, students, parents, the whole community. True. Pero dahil ayaw ng admin mag f2f, mag adjust ang graduates.

Email the University Treasurer. Ask for the breakdown of how the graduation fee is spent. As a graduate, you deserve to know how @ADDU_Official is spending the money you (or your parents) paid for.

Sa nangyaring #virtualgrad ng @ADDU_Official , talo ang graduates pero kumita ng at least 2.1Mn pesos ang AdDU sa grad fee. Kahit mag trending pa ang ADDU graduation sa SocMed, basta’t intact na ang graduation fee sa kaban ng AdDU, masaya pa rin sila. @atenews @addusamahan
