@InlandCaGuy one time I was checking out the reviews of a hotel with mostly five stars and someone had given it one star because there were homeless people near the parking garage... in downtown San Diego... is the hotel supposed to solve homelessness or
@GhostGat0r some of them might be flash but for something like this she probably went to the same artist for many many sessions and they worked together to get the designs she wanted fit into the remaining spaces. sometimes called a patchwork sleeve; they're p common
@paceunknowns there ARE genre differences on wattpad (like way more xreader) but imo the real wattpad scourge is the idea that you're writing a "book" that can one day be published so you need lots of readers and to hit an appropriate word count. some of these 60k fics should be 15k...
I understand rehoming and surrender, sometimes there are unworkable circumstances... but what I will never understand is abandonment. how could you leave her to fend for herself on the street?? ๐
@bandagedeunuch as far as I can tell, this phrase started as a way of validating people who couldn't transition YET. the idea was you still count as trans now, even if medical transition is out of reach. idk when or why people who don't want to transition started using it tbh
just because I can pull it together enough to be on time for the train once every few months doesn't mean I won't be five minutes late to daily things. just bc you can make a nice Christmas dinner doesn't mean you're not having a sandwich for lunch. what are we doing here
every single person in the quotes: well if you have a disability, have you tried not being disabled? it's actually really rude to ME that you have a disability
I'm so tired of lateness being viewed as a moral failing. I've been shamed for it my whole life because it's framed as "disrespect" (and no, it hasn't helped me be more punctual) and if I lost out on a major life opportunity because of it I don't think I could have ever recovered
"get your shit together omg" I'm medicated but meds take some time to kick in, even if I took them as soon as I woke up they wouldn't help me get to work on time. it takes a Herculean amount of effort to get somewhere on time which is why I prioritize times when it matters
@notnotdylm I work at the grocery store and every single day I hear "How Bizarre" by omc and every single day I think, damn, what a bop. never mad to hear it
@zweiwalker89607 I really feel this as a passionate ventrobi shipper - enemies to lovers is so hot when it's not "a man who makes a woman uncomfortable keeps fucking up her life but he IS sexy so... ยฏโ \โ _โ (โ ใโ )โ _โ /โ ยฏ"
google maps needs a "I'm getting gas, oh my god shut up I'm GETTING GAS" feature, where I can push a button and not get yelled at to "make a u-turn" just because I pulled off I-90 after three hours
@facetedcarapace agreed - I cook myself "a meal" maybe 2-3 times a week and I definitely have more time on my hands than most with no kids and a five minute commute
@larissaphillip homeschool families will tell you they know lots of other families who are homeschooling successfully. this is because they meet at extra curricular and social groups for homeschoolers; they're self selecting for involved, caring parents. ask me how I know!
