I'm definitely the type to say "it's cool" and just delete you from my life cause it's really not cool but I know I’m not gonna have to deal with it or you anymore, so it is cool.
Going through a phase right now, i think i've finally come in terms with letting a lot of stuff go including feelings, people, fears, just everything. it's time for new beginnings, new chapters that brings happiness, love and endless memories. it's time to move on with life.
Stop chasing after people & being the only one trying to fix stuff. It's mentally & physically exhausting. You have to find peace with whoever comes & goes from your life. Don't be the only one putting in effort because you will end up losing yourself trying to save everyone else
I don't tell nobody my business so anything you think you know about me is literally just a thought. I don’t care how close we are, l'm very private. I learned my lesson with how a listening ear could become a running mouth.
I'm teaching myself to not exaggerate my place in people’s lives. No matter how good my intentions, no matter how much they mean to me. I'm learning that sometimes you don't mean to people what they mean to you & that's okay.
love requires so many foundational skills. forgiveness. compassion. understanding. boundaries. acceptance. clarity. compromise. teamwork. unity. problem solving. regulation. creativity.
Job didn't get his old life back. He got a new one. God didn't restore what he lost. He rewrote the ending and gave him more than he had before. Some pain won't be explained, but it will be redeemed.
Lately, I've been including this in my prayer: "If I'm not meant to have it, Lord, please remove the desire from my heart to want it, and help me find peace in its absence."
