@gzee13 We’ve got to play aggressive, going down hill, and we will get the same calls. When we play through a big man 25 feet from the basket we aren’t going to get the same benefit of the doubt.
@gzee13 @ChrisFisher247 How many teams, playing our schedule, would be a top 3 seed if you took their two starting guards out of the lineup for long stretches of the season?
Would Florida? Or Alabama? Or St John’s? Maybe, but it’s no guarantee.
@gzee13 @ChrisFisher247 And you’re positive “coach them up guys” is all we’re going to have moving forward?
I guess my broadest-level point is it feels like you’re assigning normal expectations to a situation (roster construction limitations + injuries) that just simply isn’t normal.
@gzee13 @ChrisFisher247 I think you’re jumping to some conclusions. Who is saying you aren’t allowed to criticize?
Your mentions are probably more “combative” because a larger percentage of your UK tweets this season have been critical vs positive. Or would you disagree with that?
@gzee13 I think most UK fans in the real world - including me - separate 2010-2019 and the last 5 years. It seemed like Cal changed his approach to the game and to coaching the last several years, and I think that frustrated people.
Recovery in Kentucky is going to take a long time, but we’ll be there every step of the way. FEMA has opened Disaster Recovery Centers and has teams on the ground.

I just landed in Los Angeles to be with Terrence Clarke's family. I had some time to think through what has happened while I was on the flight and I wanted to share a few things with you as we all try to process this unspeakable tragedy.
