I don’t know why this Xavier pose always hits me so hard, but knowing XavMC’s history makes it feel so much more emotional than just a cute pose😭

Because this is literally the same Xavier who, in their earliest known timeline, could only quietly watch MC from behind. The Crown Prince sitting in the academy, looking at her from a distance, waiting for those small moments when she would turn around and their eyes would meet by the clock on the wall.

He was always the observer first.

Maybe that’s why this pose feels so intimate to me. The way he rests his head on his hand, looking at MC so calmly… it feels like a continuation of that same person who spent so long watching her from afar. Except now, the distance is gone🥹

Their dynamic has changed so much. He’s no longer the Crown Prince protected by bodyguards, and she’s no longer someone he has to quietly protect from the shadows. They meet as equals now, choosing each other without titles or obligations, without destiny deciding everything for them.

I think that’s why these simple poses hurt more than the dramatic ones. For someone who spent so much time chasing, waiting, and losing her across timelines… being able to simply sit next to her and look at her feels like a miracle.
