Έπρεπε να θυσιαστούν άδικα και να εργαλειοποιηθούν τόσες εκατοντάδες χιλιάδες άνθρωποι στο όνομα της "ανάσχεσης της #Russia" ή και της "στρατηγικής ήττας και διάλυσής της" για τους πιο φανατικούς; Έπρεπε να ριχτεί στα βράχια η ευρωπαϊκή βιομηχανία και οικονομία, να ταλαιπωρηθούν και να πληγούν, ακόμη και να καταστραφούν εκατομμύρια νοικοκυριά σε ολόκληρη την ενιαία μας ήπειρο πριν "ξυπνήσουν" ως εκ θαύματος οι πολιτικοί "μας" για να μας πουν ότι πρέπει να γίνει διάλογος με τη #Ρωσία; Είναι τόσο γελοίοι, ανερμάτιστοι και ανίκανοι ή υπηρετούν κάποια συγκεκριμένα κέντρα και απλώς αργεί να φτάσει κάθε φορά η νέα εντολή, που τους καθιστά περίγελο;
@HaraldinChina@OlgaBazova Naah, just too much love for the Peruvian Lady. Also, Nose Candy is responsible for the hyper-dilated pupils. Elementary I believe....
@AfricanHub_ Obviously one of many expected actions that China is gonna take.
The tarrifs will definately hurt.
The question is : who's gonna fel the pain?
@ShoahUkraine Actually, it took the Germans a bit longer, stubborn as they obvioysly are. The unconditional surrender of the German Third Reich was signed in the early morning hours of Monday, May 7, 1945.
@jacksonhinkle It's not a Country. It's the 51st state of America. Of course, not everybody believes that - and of those who do believe it many don't like it. However, it is what it is.
@GabeZZOZZ BTW, by "unleashing hell" do you mean the use of Nuclear Weapons, the destruction of all North Korean dams which caused widespread flooding and famine, the complete Destruction of Vietnam farmland with Napalm Bombs and Agent Orange, or the last 25 years of th"War of Terror"?
The Soviet Citizens-not just the Russians-were indeed the heroes of WWII, losing 29.000.000 people (soldiers and civilian). True, Stalin made a deal with the devil (though I am not sure who really was the worst between those him and Hitler) and helped Germany protecting them temporarily from a second front. The Molotov - Ribbentrop Pact was an agreement with a short expiration date for both Countries. Everybody knew that.
On the other hand, please don't make this naive American mistake, that because we are 12 hours flying time away from Texas we don't know the difference between a ten dollar hat from a ten dollar hooker. History is written by the victors, but there is a limit for everything.
US was well aware of the imminent attack of the Japanese empire (therefore NO aircraft Carrier was present at Pearl Harbor on the 7th of December, 1941), their codes were broken and it is no coincidence or luck that Japan was crashed at every single naval battle of the Pacific. America knew only too well what was coming and FDR was waiting for the "first strike" to mobilize the Army Industry, knowing that his Country would win the war and eventually replace Britain and France in World Dominance. Us casualties were less than 450.000 men , and the country remained practically untouched by the horrors of the war - excluding a bold, symbolic und ineffective bombardment of a Japanese Submarine at the San Francisco Bay.
I'd suggest you read an excellent book written by Senator J. William Fullbright, before you jump to any conclusions about any kind of war. The title is also spot on : "The Arrogance of Power".
