Coronary angiography showed no lesions.
Apparently, the increase in intra-abdominal pressure with laparoscopy provoked a catecholamine storm in a misdiagnosed pheochromocytoma, whose effect on the heart was amplified by the anesthesia induction with sevoflurane.
