ARSENAL vs KAIRAT

Arsenal go perfect in the league phase, won 8 out of 8 matches and top the table with maximum 24 points.

— calm, control, confidence.
This wasn’t about chaos or scorelines, it was about authority. Arsenal dictated the tempo from start to finish, moved the ball with purpose, and never looked rushed. A game played like a team that knows exactly what it wants to do.

Kai Havertz stood out quietly but brilliantly.
Smart movement, intelligent positioning, linking play effortlessly — the kind of performance that doesn’t scream for attention but makes everything work better. He made the game look easy, and that’s the mark of a top player.
45 minutes played, One goal and two assists in his first start of the season coming after a long term injury.

And a special moment for the future
Ife Ibrahim’s debut was one of the biggest positives of the night. Calm on the ball, confident in his decisions, and clearly unfazed by the stage. Arsenal fans should be excited — there’s real promise there.

On the flip side, Gyökeres has to score more. The work rate is there, the physical presence is obvious, but top strikers are judged on output. At this level, chances can’t keep going begging.

Madueke? Dangerous, direct, but frustrating. He beat his man often, got into the right areas, then let himself down with the final ball. The raw tools are there — decision-making is the next step.

Kairat were disciplined and brave. They stayed compact, fought for every duel, and tried to play when they could. The quality gap showed, but the effort never dropped. They didn’t roll over — Arsenal had to earn control.

Sometime ago, I paid one of my staff his salary and he wasn't happy receiving it.
