🟥 El 84% de l’electricitat que consumim depèn de l'exterior. Aquesta dependència ens fa més vulnerables econòmicament, més fràgils davant les crisis geopolítiques i més lents en la descarbonització.

🟥 Catalunya no pot voler més indústria, centres de dades, electrificar la química, sobirania energètica i bloquejar el desplegament renovables, tot alhora.

🟥 Països Baixos, Bèlgica i Dinamarca reben entre un terç i un 40% menys de radiació solar anual que Catalunya. Han instal·lat fins a sis vegades més solar fotovoltaica per habitant.

🟥 El #PLATER2050 ronda tan sols l’1% del sòl de cada municipi per cobrir els objectius energètics nacionals.

🟥 El #PLATER2050 combina 23 GW d'eòlica terrestre + 33 GW de solar + 5 GW d'altres renovables = 62 GW. Un cop construït, 120 TWh/any, prop de 4,3 vegades l'energia útil del petroli que Catalunya consumeix.

🟥 Hi ha 231 projectes eòlics i 1.107 de fotovoltaics pendents d'autorització. En conjunt, sumen prop d'11 GW, amb capacitat per generar una energia equivalent a la producció d'11 reactors nuclears durant les hores de màxim rendiment.

🟥 L’objectiu principal del PLATER és determinar la potència eòlica i fotovoltaica assignada a cada municipi de Catalunya en funció de la capacitat d’acollida d’aquestes energies renovables, d’acord amb una metodologia que analitza d’una manera uniforme els factors mediambientals, paisatgístics, urbanístics i de compatibilitat amb altres usos.
