@FIUSCIS A4: When women are given responsibility/authority they have an opportunity to shine rather than hide in the background. The girls that are already confident don't feel the need to be someone who they aren't. Leadership, confidence, support, all play a hand in female empowerment!

@FIUSCIS As the current President of Women in Computer Science at FIU, I've found that a lot of women got interested in the field due to gaming. A great way to engage young women in CS, is by showing them all the possibilities available in CS and empowering them to follow their dreams.
