Bodycam shows her reaching for her Rottweiler. Officer Holland fired 8 shots, killing both dogs.

Palestine, Arkansas, officer Harold Holland was at Haley Smallwood’s home while her ex-husband picked up his belongings. When he walked out, the dogs came out of the room.

“Did the dog bite you?”

“No.”

His justification? It came at him.

Six children were inside the home. Holland was charged with first-degree assault, a Class A misdemeanor, and released from jail less than two hours after booking. He remains employed by the department.

Apparently, “keeping the peace” means leaving the family traumatized and the officer employed.

💔🕊️ ¡Qué tragedia tan dolorosa! Dos jóvenes perdieron la vida la noche de este martes en un lamentable incidente vial ocurrido en la intersección de las avenidas 27 de Febrero y Bartolomé Colón, en Santiago.

Una de las víctimas fue identificada como Rolfi Stil Martínez Salcedo, de apenas 19 años, mientras que la otra era una adolescente cuya identidad aún no había sido confirmada.

Según los reportes preliminares, ambos cayeron al pavimento y fueron alcanzados por un camión recolector de basura. Las autoridades investigan las circunstancias del hecho.
