ATMOSPHERE

In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found. . . . Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. — PROVERBS 10:13, 24:3,4

Spiritual things are created by words. Even natural, physical things are created by words! God, who is a Spirit, said, “Let there be an earth,” and there was an earth. Jesus said, “. . . whosoever shall SAY . . . shall have whatsoever he SAITH” (Mark 11:23,24). Atmospheres are created with words.

For example, if you go into a room where fish has been fried, the fish smell is still in the atmosphere. And if you go into a room where harsh words have been spoken, they also linger in the atmosphere. The air is heavy with them.

Children brought up in an atmosphere of wrong words become warped. They fail in life, because right words were not spoken to them.

Why is it that some children grow up strong and go out in life’s fight and win? It’s because the right kind of words were spoken in their home! Words make children love an education. Words bring children to church.

Confession:
I create the very atmosphere around me with my words. I speak words of wisdom — God’s words. I speak words of faith — God’s words. I speak words of love — God’s words. And the chambers round about me are filled with precious and pleasant riches!

Faith Is Based on Bible Facts, Not Theories

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.—1 PETER 2:24

Faith is built on fact, not theory. A fact is a conclusion deduced from evidence. (My definition of a theory is a supposition established on ignorance of the subject under discussion!) Faith is based on the facts of God’s Word, but theory about God’s Word is based on suppositions.

It is a Bible fact that by Jesus’ stripes, we were healed (1 Peter 2:24). It is a Bible fact that surely He has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains (Isa. 53:4). It is a Bible fact that Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses (Matt. 8:17). These are Bible facts, not theories.

Start believing these facts—even while you still have the symptoms. Although your body may be telling you that you are not healed, continue to believe the facts of God’s Word. I know it works. It has worked for me.

Confession:
I believe the facts of God’s Word. I believe that by Jesus’ stripes, I am healed. I am not going to be healed, because I am healed now.

WRONG WORDS

Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles. — PROVERBS 21:23

When trouble comes, most people want to blame God. “Why did God let this happen?” they ask.

After Job’s troubles came, he said, “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me” (Job 3:25). Job opened the door and let the devil in!

We cause our troubles ourselves much of the time. Many dear Christian people don’t keep their mouths and tongues under control. They’re always saying wrong words. Just about all they ever talk about is what a battle they’ve had with the devil. Words of defeat are wrong. Words of failure are wrong. Words about how the devil is hindering you, how he’s keeping you from success, how he’s making you sick and keeping you sick, are wrong. Such words give Satan dominion over you and create troubles.

But when you have God’s Word in your heart, and speak it out of your mouth — right in the face of apparent contradictions, right in the face of pain, right in the face of alarming symptoms, right in the face of excruciating circumstances — such adverse conditions will disappear.

Confession:
I keep my mouth, and I keep my tongue. Therefore, I keep my soul from troubles. I believe God’s Word in my heart. I purpose that the Word shall be in my mouth and on my tongue, and I shall only speak according to God’s Word!

According to Your Faith

Then touched he [Jesus] their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. —MATTHEW 9:29

Sixteen years later, the woman who had polio and was paralyzed wrote me a letter, which read, “Brother Hagin, I just wanted you to know that I’m out of my wheelchair.”

It took her many years to get out. No, it didn’t take God that long; it took her that long. She couldn’t believe that God wanted to heal her and that she could be healed as quickly as her daughter had been healed.

She continued to say, “A woman came to my house because I couldn’t do any housework. I couldn’t even use my hand to put a tape in the tape player, so she helped me. Every day, this woman came to my house, put a tape in the player, and I kept listening to tapes from your services. Over the course of several years, I received my healing. I’m out of my wheelchair, and I’m doing all my housework. It’s so wonderful to get up in the morning and fix my husband’s breakfast before he leaves for work.”

Now why did she receive her healing gradually? Because she took hold of the truth gradually. Was that the highest will of God? No, it wasn’t God’s best, but it sure did beat spending the rest of her life in a wheelchair.

She could have been healed like her daughter was in that first meeting. But she just couldn’t believe that she could receive healing that easily.

Confession:
I believe I receive healing from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. It is easy to receive healing.

DEMAND
By Kenneth E. Hagin

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. — JOHN 14:12-14

The verses in today’s text have nothing whatsoever to do with prayer. In yesterday’s devotion, we saw how Jesus said to use His Name in prayer to the Father. But here we see a different use of Jesus’ Name. Here, the Greek word translated “ask” can also mean “demand.”

An example of this use of the Name is seen at the gate called Beautiful. Peter said to a lame man sitting at the gate, “. . . In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk” (Acts 3:6).

Jesus said, “Whatsoever you demand in My name, I will do it.” Let that soak in a little. When we use the Name of Jesus, it is as though Jesus were here Himself. All the power and authority invested in Jesus, is in His Name!

You’re not demanding anything of the Father. (After all, it wasn’t God who had bound that lame man; it was the devil who had him bound.) No, you’re demanding that the devil give way to the Name of Jesus!

Confession:
The Name of Jesus belongs to me. Whatever I demand in the Name of Jesus according to God’s Word, He will do it!

Minister @DunsinOyekan started a series on the tabernacle of David, which I believe is highly prophetic.

The emphasis on the tabernacle of David is really the key to world harvest and discipleship. The mountain upon which the tabernacle was set up in which the ark was placed was called Mount Zion.

This is the mountain Isaiah prophesied saying all nations will come to this mountain seeking the Lord desirous of being taught by him.

Isaiah 2:3
"And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem."

It is the mountain referred to in the book of Hebrews when it said.........

Hebrews 12:22
"But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels."

Its on this mountain we have the feast of fat things where the veil is taking off and a flood tide of Revelation knowledge flows. A place where death is swallowed up in victory and tears wiped off the faces of people. It is Mount Zion beautiful foe situation.

Isaiah 25:7-9
"7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation."

It is this tabernacle of David that holds the key, unlocking the mystery.

When Apostle Paul had a serious contention with some of the teachers who had some restrain on the Gentiles freely coming into the Body of Christ, the matter was taken to the "council of apsotles" in Jerusalem and James authenticated using the scriptures where it was prophesied that all nations shall come to the Lord. The key to the global harvest, as stated by James through the prophets, was in rebuilding the tabernacle of David in our midst. Understanding its spiritual essence.

Acts 15:13-19
"13 And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:

14 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.

15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,

16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:"

What they were seeing in the harvest of the Gentiles coming in was the fulfilment of the prophecy given by Amos about the tabernacle of David being rebuilt.

In this tabernacle, we offer up perfected praise. We render the calves of our lips unto God.

Hosea 14:2
"Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips."

We come in the inquire of God, and even if you give us a house full of gold or silver, we won't go beyond the instruction of the Spirit of God. David understood that obedience to God and not yielding to the desires of men over you was the first act of worship. He was a man who sought the heart of God.

There are battles you will not need to fight this year. The jealousy of God will fight for you. The Lord will fight for you, and you will hold your peace!

For someone, this is your year of vindication. Every conspiracy against your family, your job, your person, and your integrity, the God who vindicates men will vindicate you this year.

Consider Joseph, when Potiphar’s wife falsely accused him, he had no opportunity to defend himself. He was a slave and was cast into prison. But the God of vengeance was watching. And when the time was fully come, God lifted him with honour, dignity, and nobility.

Those who once spoke against him later stood before him. Those who plotted his fall depended on him for survival. Hear this clearly: those who prayed for your downfall will eat from your hands this year. Those who secretly desired to see you cry, God will cause them to receive sustenance through you. The brothers who threw Joseph into the pit later depended on him for food. He became the custodian of Egypt’s economy.

The Bible says in Acts 12 that when Peter came to himself, he declared that God delivered him not only from the hand of Herod, but also from the expectations of men. God delivers people from trouble, and He also delivers them from evil expectations.

This year, everyone will carry their own harvest. No one will sow seeds of evil and force you to reap them, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Rightly Discern the Lord’s Body

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.—1 CORINTHIANS 11:29–30

Paul is inferring that there shouldn’t be any physically weak or sickly among the Church of Jesus Christ. There shouldn’t be any who die prematurely. He indicates that many people are weak and sickly because they aren’t rightly discerning the body. This observation has a twofold application.

First, Paul is talking about the Lord’s Supper. The broken bread represents Jesus’ broken body that was broken for your physical sustenance. You can partake of that broken body just as a routine ceremony, and it won’t mean a thing in the world to you; it will just be a ritual. Or when you hold that piece of broken bread in your hand, you can say, “Thank God, the body of Jesus was broken for my physical sustenance. His blood was shed for the remission of my sins. I’m eating the bread as a sign, as evidence, that I’m partaking of His broken body and, therefore, I’m healed. With His stripes, I am healed. I no longer have sickness or disease.” When you do this, you are discerning the Lord’s body.

There is another spiritual aspect to this scripture, which is that the Body of Christ is one. The spiritual Body in the earth today is one, and you must walk in love toward your fellow Christians. If you don’t discern the Body of Christ and walk in love toward your fellow Christians, you’ll open the door to sickness and disease.

Confession:
I will walk in love toward all Christians. I’ll honor and reverence all Christians. I may not always agree with all Christians, but I’ll not be disagreeable.
