“petal” by Ariana Grande is a no skips album. It's sinister, eerie, but ethereal, and feels like an underwater castle full of crystals in a video game. She has become a siren and this is her song. I'm enthralled. Album of the year imo. Reminds me of discovering Billie. top: freak

Stream “Vie” by Doja Cat on Spotify, Apple Music, etc. 💋

[ALEJO AYBUS @alejoaybus]

One thing about Doja Cat is she’s incapable of making bad music regardless of genre, so if you weren’t vibing with Vie you probably haven’t given it time to settle in because that album SLAPS. I’m gonna need y’all to start streaming it before the American leg of tour.

Overall ranking - (8/10).

I still love Scarlet best for PTTR, Skull and Bones, HEADHIGH, etc. and Hot Pink had more ear candy, but for proof of concept and seeing her mature this is some of her strongest and most personal work. Really looking forward to seeing her in November.
