Seeing this is like if, in the past, we created something to know if a movie used CGI, or a YouTube video was edited before publishing.

Google on Tuesday launched a new site that lets anyone verify whether a piece of media, be it an image, a video or an audio clip, is generated using AI.

The call was to slow down frontier AI research.

AI labs somehow heard: slow down the users.

@OpenAI should be really ashamed of launching GPT-6 Sol and Luna

[Alejo @AlejoLargacha]

Fixing a bug with AI shouldn’t just be about fixing the bug. It should be about making an improvement.

Both take roughly the same amount of time, but the second one leaves you with a better product.

The truth will make you free, but first it will make you angry.

We need a change of mental model, the era of working hard is ending and we need to work smart. Today you can do in 2 hours the work that takes 5 days. So instead of trying to be more productive we should focus on having more free time.

[David @DavidSHolz]

my friends are all feeling extremely productive and also extremely drained with the latest coding models. this makes me feel like something is wrong, and also that there might be a big opportunity. does anyone have any strategies they use to make it feel better day-to-day?
