@UrbitSpaceAssoc I’ve seen (and at times, played my part in) nastiness in many generations of crypto core governance. It shrinks the pie for everyone and I’m embarrassed to think back about those eras.
@UrbitSpaceAssoc I am happy to see dissensus within Urbit politics and divergent strategies from groups that care about Urbit’s success. I haven’t “picked a side”. I don’t think I have to.
That said, negative discourse and personal attacks don’t help anyone.
the UF is currently ran by grubby venture capitalists and a failed dictator who wants to pump his own bags.
USA believes that address space belongs to the people. we intend to return to that ideal.
stay tuned and stay vigilant. #USA

Meanwhile, it’s a #400??? Mkt cap coin (maybe lower now).
Just make some web2.5 meme tech and ride the wave. Just be https://t.co/Wy5CWWOmEJ with political cred.
Ridiculous opportunity. Don’t blow it.
urbit the technology is really really cool. it is NEVER going to get mass adoption. Urbit had a few smart devs and a quirky community.. retention has faltered, to put it mildly.
But the likely next VP is a fan. A good chunk of the new regime knows about urbit.
just admit that it’s an art project by the greatest outsider of the 3rd millenium. it’s the one true memecoin. it’s the gold standard of digital status. urbit is a total trash fire of a tech stack. urbit is cosmic. urbit was never meant to touch profane computing.
Any new urbit narrative must be predicated upon the admission that urbit is *not* on a trajectory to become a competitively viable technology product and that is *ok*.
We’re excited to announce that @Milady_Sonoro will be speaking at this year’s Assembly.
As the visual artist behind the Milady project, Sprite has been a key player in the cultural phenomenon since day one.
We can’t wait to hear what he has to say.

"I think Urbit is one of the most important pieces of technology to be developed in the last 20 years, and that it has the potential to shift our relationship with computing and the internet in meaningful (and positive) ways."
