Well looks like this place is done for. I'm old enough to have seen this happen before. So yeah, you know where to find me and the other peeps by now, you can find me with the same handle elsewhere. I'll keep this as an archive and to keep following art that didn't make the jump
I guess this concludes the unfinished series of quasi-charcoal sketches that has been going on for a while... I tried to channel a bit of a Pietร theme
I can finally repost this in the right context, following the other charcoal style sketches in the intended story order. I'm glad this turned out one of the most fleshed out of the sketches... and that it also enabled me to express my more aggressive side
All this is just beyond the pale. In case some day my wizened heart can't muster anymore to post here, please remember to regroup there (until they ruin that too that is)
I've been waiting to show deer lord Myrmidon's final form's concept art for a while now... withered, corrupted, yet renewed in his vigor, not to mention bigger (all over). (As I used to say back then, from Bambi to Morbi...)
Wolf knight Zanzibart barely survived to protect his liege from those who would oppose the ritual. The plague is cleansed, but at what cost... The ordeal changed them irreversibly, especially the deer lord, as the gems of the fallen heroes embed in him and eat away at his flesh
Halloween is as good as it gets of a time to resume posting the previous dark fantasy series of sketches based on a story draft by Minoanon, as things are gonna get much skelly. Here is a rough sketch of what would have been the final ascension... or descension of the deer lord
Some time ago we've been brainstorming visual ideas for a dark fantasy setting with @MinoHotel. I'll be posting some of the commissioned concept art that resulted from the experiment
"Just leave it near the washing machine, thank you!"
A really neat idea Adumbratio had for this commission, when he heard I had recently moved.
When Daniel offered to help yours truly move to his new place, little did he know of what he was getting into...
Continuing the sketches based on a narrative from Minoanon... As the quest goes on, the deer lord is led to a twisted path. As he takes on the burden of the curse, he too begins to change. But is this unraveling of his form just revealing of the nature that always was there?
Continuing the dark fantasy charcoal type sketches from earlier, an actual fight scene, a subject quite new and challenging for me. Some of these aren't quite finished but more like studies
