Dunging: A predator using faecal matter as an ambush site to increase their chances of predation of prey that may be attracted to the poo (like insects).

A little blue penguin (kororā, Eudyptula minor) makes its way to shore at dusk, en route to the trilling calls of chicks huddled by their sandy burrows. Kororā are the world’s smallest species of penguin, only a foot tall!

Such a cool find on my balcony: mud dauber nests CHOCK-FULL of paralysed spiders to feed the wasp larvae inside!
In the 4 nests there were 48 spiders!!
