Today marks the anniversary of D-Day, the historic operation that changed the course of history. It’s a day to pause and reflect on the unimaginable bravery of the Allied forces who stormed the beaches of Normandy.

I am profoundly grateful to the veterans and the fallen who fought through sheer terror to secure the freedoms we enjoy today. They left behind their homes, their families, and their futures so that we could live in peace.

To all who served, to those who never made it home, and to the living veterans who continue to inspire us, thank you.
