Plus servers get taxed on an assumption of tips and also have to pay the bussers and bar per their total sales, tips or not. So they lose money on tables that don’t tip. It costs them to serve you in that case!

@KuroKamiYuro @Matt_Pinner Well, not really. The tip is because someone else is taking your order and bringing your food, plus filling drinks and taking care of things while you’re there. That’s the basic premise. Basic tip if that’s done. Higher tips for more attentive service.

@Matt_Pinner That’s a 40% tip. We tip minimum 20%. I tip more on smaller things like sitting in server’s station for 90 minutes but a bill is only $20. I’ll leave $5. But 40%? Who on earth can afford to go out when you’re telling them to pay almost half again what the original bill is?!

Make appt, time lost at work, pay doc, can’t afford insurance, make too much for Medicaid, $150, for a $20/pack BC pills PP provides at low/no cost

@KUTV2News This is embarrassing. It’s not about “weather”. It’s about overall climate change. 1 degree has a major effect on ice caps. We’ve been under an excessive heat warning at my house for 2 weeks. Maybe look for productive ways to discuss issues rather than being petty and ignorant?
