One of the things I was most excited about working on this year was a DEI Media and Resource List to help share diverse stories. The list is now available on the Phi Sigma Pi website! Check it out —> https://t.co/DQrziOK0bj
New research suggests anti-Black racism underlies negative reactions to requests for DEI statements for employment among people who identify as conservative.

This is my annual reminder to faculty reviewing applications:
Tweeting about how many ~amazing, incredible, fantastic~ applicants you have and that your program is up 50% so “thank you to all who applied I’m so lucky!”, makes people feel awful and is a bad look.
Bronfenbrenner's ecological systems model adapted for Black youth development and attachment processes in context (Stern et al., 2021). thank you for letting me draw this @JessAStern !
I am a part of a research team conducting a research project on first-generation doctoral students and we are hoping to recruit folks across disciplines. Please share!! #FirstGenDocs

If you are a Black woman, or if you know and support Black women you NEED this book!

Now that there have been a few days for it to sink in I am happy to announce that I successfully defended my second year project focused on language complexity in autistic and non-autistic adolescents, getting me one step closer to my first first-author publication!
We are deeply saddened to learn the cause of death of Olympic medalist and world champion sprinter, Tori Bowie.
Black women die at exceedingly higher rates due to pregnancy-related complications. We face a much higher risk of maternal death due to various reasons including chronic stress and implicit bias from health care providers. There is so much work to be done to properly protect and advocate for Black women's health. We send continued love and condolences to Tori Bowie's family. 📷#BETRemembers #BlackWomen #Mortality
