The 49ers had a great season. They have their franchise QB for years to come. They will keep most of their roster intact. They played the defending world champions tonight right down to the very last second of OT. It’s disappointing, but not life ending. It’s hard to beat a QB like Mahomes in the big game. If it was easy, everyone would do it. KC will lose their footing again, because that’s how cycles in football work. Just a matter of time.
There’s a lot of good that came out of this season, despite coming up short. Everyone is free to handle the disappointment however they like. For me, I refuse to tear down anyone on this team, or the coach, or go into wild theatrics about a SB loss. Losses suck, but they are part of life. You don’t give up, either in football or in life. Gotta stand up and fight your way back again.
I love this team, and am going to start scoping out the draft, because there’s no quitting. But y’all do what you want.
I’m in as Faithful, no matter what. Join me if you are 49er to the core. If not, that’s cool. There are 30 softer teams out there looking for new zero-calorie, fair weather fans. I’ll either see you in training camp or I won’t.
